The People's Insurance Counsel Division (PICD) represents the interests of consumers concerning Maryland Homeowners’ Insurance and Medical Professional Liability Insurance.

The People's Insurance Counsel Division, located in the Maryland Office of the Attorney General, will be on site to: discuss insurance problems with consumers, to answer questions and explain the process available in Maryland for review of complaints and to alert consumers to changes in Maryland that may affect them.
