Join us to discuss a different cozy mystery on the 3rd Thursday of each month at the Leonardtown Library. Be ready to talk about a genre that puts us all at ease while keeping us on our toes.
Foodies and mystery-aficionados alike should enjoy Mastering the Art of French Murder by Colleen Cambridge (2023), the start of her new An American in Paris series.
Tabitha Knight has recently arrived in Paris to stay with her French grandfather. Thanks to her neighbor, Julia Child, she has been learning the art of French cooking and enjoy Paris to the fullest. That is, until the pair return to Julia's building one day and learn that a body has been found in the cellar. The victim? A friend of Julia's sister whom they met at a party the night before. The weapon? A knife from Julia's own kitchen. With the inspector focusing on Julia, it's up to Tabitha to navigate the city in order to find the real killer before she or one of her friends ends up in prison... or worse.
