Leonard E. Wathen Jr. - "The Wathen's Stuffed Ham Traditions"
Leonard E. Wathen, Jr. is a genealogy enthusiast, author, and the Director of Religious Education at St. Aloysius Church in Leonardtown. He holds a master's degree in theology from Christendom College and is a Secular Carmelite. Wathen also offers professional genealogical research services with a special focus on local Catholic families and the rich history of Southern Maryland. Leonard has written several books including The Wathens of Southern Maryland: Their Genealogy & History and Reflections on Discipleship, a three-book series on following Jesus. He has also contributed articles to Catholic365.com. His latest book Wathen’s Adventure: The Genealogy and History of John Wathen of Southern Maryland will be released later this year.
