Garden Irrigation Techniques

Learn all about irrigation!

Proper irrigation management is the foundation of growing great plants; without it all the best seeds, transplants, soils and fertilizer will not do a thing for your garden. We will cover some of the many options for delivering water to your plants, recognizing conditions when irrigation is needed/is not needed, and the importance of proper irrigation management for promoting plant health.

Note: This class will be held at the Lexington Manor Passive Park Community Garden. In the event of inclement weather, this class will be held at the Lexington Park Library. Register to receive notice of change in venue.

This program is made possible with support from the Lexington Manor Passive Park Community Garden and the University of Maryland Extension Master Gardener program. This workshop may qualify for continuing education hours for Master Gardeners.
