Join the Mobile Library and Chesapeake Dolphin Watch at Point Lookout State Park for an exciting morning of science, exploration, and fun focused on the amazing dolphins that visit the Chesapeake Bay. Explore interactive learning stations featuring dolphin anatomy, echolocation, marine habitats, and more! You can also create your own Bay-themed craft. Head to the shoreline for a guided walk to learn how to safely observe dolphins and how to report your findings as a citizen scientist.
The historic Point Lookout Lighthouse will also be open during the event offering visitors a chance to explore one of Maryland’s most recognizable coastal landmarks.
This is a weather dependent event and registration is required for park entry. Please register once per family group. Admission fees for participants will be covered by St. Mary's County Library.
