Join this live online discussion with community members as they talk about their experiences during the desegregation of St. Mary's County Schools.

Join us as Merideth Taylor leads a panel discussion that includes Stuart Newkirk, Dr. Janice T. Walthour, and Dr. Francine Dove Hawkins.

Registrants will receive a Zoom Meeting link before the program. This program is part of the Community Conversations on Race, and is presented in partnership with the St. Mary's County Recreation and Parks - Museum Division. 

Join us this fall for Community Conversations on Race, a series of virtual events to engage in conversation and learn from fellow community members. Community partners for this series include NAACP Unit 7025, Community Mediation of St. Mary’s, Unified Committee for Afro-American Contributions (UCAC), Historic Sotterley, and St. Mary’s County Recreation and Parks – Museum Division.
