Erica Morgan is an author and artist from Severna Park, Maryland. Her book was inspired by childhood trips with her family to search for shark teeth at Calvert Cliffs!

Erica wrote "A Shark Tooth Fairy Tale" at the age of eleven, to answer a question that she had always wondered about: "How can one tooth fairy exchange so many shark teeth for gifts in a single night?" She found the story tucked away many years later and sketched a storyboard for it, bringing her story to life. Join us for a story time and fun activity with Erica. She will tell us a little bit about what it is like to be a young author and artist and answer any questions.
