Join Allison, a librarian at Charlotte Hall Library, as she leads participants through a guided meditation for stress relief.
Guided meditation, the practice of being led by another person’s voice to help one achieve a relaxed, mindful state, has many benefits. These include stress reduction, helping one focus more on the present moment, and increased self-awareness.
Additionally, registered participants can pick up a DIY stress ball kit at any of the three St. Mary’s County Library branches. Participants will be emailed when the stress ball kits are ready to be picked up.
