Have you ever wondered how you can use your phone to take professional-level photos to share online or with your friends & family?
Learn how to use today's technology to capture the world around you!
This workshop will include a training on the fundamentals of photography, an overview of how to use the features of your digital camera or smartphone to your advantage, and an outdoor photo walk in the library's Front Yard to practice nature & portrait photography.
Participants will also be able to use our "Nature and Biodiversity" Citizen Science Kit during this program. These kits includes a set of clip-on specialty lenses for smartphone nature photography!
Please note: Digital cameras and smartphones will not be provided for this program, but you are more than welcome to bring your own!
