Speaker - Julia A. King, Department Chair of Sociology and Anthropology
Julia A. King is the George B. and Willma Reeves Endowed Chair in the Liberal Arts professor of anthropology at St. Mary's College of Maryland, where she researches, teaches, and writes about early American and Indigenous history, archaeology, and culture. She has received recognition for her research from the Society for Historical Archaeology, the Society for Ethnohistory, and the William and Mary Quarterly, among others.
Migration Journeys with St. Mary’s College of Maryland is a thought-provoking series that will offer valuable insights into the experiences, challenges, and triumphs of people who have traversed our state and nation, continents and oceans.
