Join us to discuss a different cozy mystery on the 3rd Thursday of each month at the Leonardtown Library. Be ready to talk about a genre that puts us all at ease while keeping us on our toes.

David Rosenfelt's Andy Carpenter series has captivated readers for over 20 years. This month we'll discuss the prequel, Dogged Pursuit.

Andy Carpenter has spent his first three years since graduating law school slowly becoming disillusioned by the system. He decides on some big changes: starting his own practice and adopting a dog. He goes to the shelter and falls in love with golden retriever, Tara, but can't stand the idea of leaving behind her friend Sunny. It turns out that poor Sunny is there because his owner, Frank, has been accused of murdering his ex-boss. Andy can't help but take a liking to Frank and sets out to both clear his name and reunite him with his beloved dog.
