Meeting Room 1

Join us to discuss a different cozy mystery on the 3rd Thursday of each month at the Leonardtown Library. Be ready to talk about a genre that puts us all at ease while keeping us on our toes.

This month we'll be taking on The No. 1 Ladies Detective Agency by acclaimed writer Alexander McCall Smith.

Precious Ramotswe is drawn to her profession to "help people with problems in their lives." She sets up shop in a small storefront in Gaborone and finds herself hired to track down a missing husband, uncover a con man, and follow a wayward daughter. But the case that tugs at her heart, and lands her in danger, is that of a missing eleven-year-old boy believed to be snatched by witchdoctors.
