This program is for adults interested in learning how to use the Cricut Cutting Machine. It is a three-part series that runs three consecutive weeks
This home die-cutting machine can be used for cutting paper, felt, vinyl, and fabric. Presenter will demonstrate how a design is created on the computer and sent to the Cricut machine for cutting. Registration required. This will be a Zoom program. Register with an email address to receive a link to join the online event.
Session 1: October 8, 2020 – Introduction to Cricut
This session will go over the basics of the Cricut machine, its uses & the different items you can create with it. This class show participants how to sign up for Design Space in order to participate in the next class.
Session 2: October 15, 2020 – Design Space 101
This session teaches participants an in-depth way to use Cricut Design Space. Users will learn how to upload an image to create their own custom design. This session will walk through how to create a project in Design Space & share it online for others to use it.
Session 3: October 22, 2020 – Creating Your Project
This session will walk participants on how to complete their final project. This class will cover weeding, and the application of a decal to a cup. Participants will need to pick up a crafting kit at the branch noted on their registration form before this session. There is ONE kit max per registrant.
