Join us as Barb Whipkey, of Wild Birds Unlimited in Lexington Park, MD, shares tips on how we can help bluebirds survive when ice and cold winter weather have depleted their food supply.
Many people believe that Eastern Bluebirds move south in winter, but they actually remain right here in Southern Maryland. Bluebirds begin staking claim to nesting sites in February. Barb will share ideas on providing safe nesting boxes, foods for attracting bluebirds, and the importance of offering water for bluebirds.
