Participants will learn how to create a floating ink monoprint and stab-bind their own art journal.
Suminagashi is a style of paper marbling using ink on water to create unique, flowing patterns. Participants will need a large, flat container to hold water (such as a jelly roll pan or baking sheet) and a flat place for their print to dry.
A limited number of art kits with the supplies to do the craft will be provided to registrants on a first come, first served basis. You will be able to pick up the kit starting one week before the event at any of our locations. We will send an email out prior to the date of the event to all registrants letting them know when the kits are ready to be picked up.
