Do you ever wonder what your local librarians are reading? Find out each month when a different librarian selects a book and leads a discussion. This book club will have something for everyone!

Join Elizabeth, a librarian at Leonardtown Library, in discussing I Must Betray You, by Ruta Sepetys for the Staff Picks Book Club! I Must Betray You is an historical fiction novel set in Communist Romania during the late 1980s. Communism is falling all over Europe, but Romania is a staunch hold out. Nicolae and his family live in fear of the regime, and the people they know and love. The government turns neighbors and families on one another as informers for the government. No one knows who they can trust. This is a look at a Communist regime we've heard little about, but is uplifting in its portrayal of the strength of spirit within everyone.
