Learn all about Ecuador from an Ecuadorian and find out on what city the Equator line is located and the phenomenon behind it!

Would you like to stand on the Equator line having one foot on the Northern Hemisphere and the other on the Southern Hemisphere? Ecuador is the place to visit to do that. It has the closest major city to the Equator line on the planet!

Interesting Fact: Ecuador’s highest peak, Chimborazo Volcano, is closer to the sun than Mt. Everest, thanks to the Equatorial bulge.
