Commemorative to Enslaved People of Southern Maryland at St Mary’s College of Maryland
Join us this Juneteenth to help define the future mission of the Commemorative to Enslaved People of Southern Maryland at St Mary’s College of Maryland. Built in honor of those forced to labor in the region, the Commemorative celebrates stories of Black resilience, resistance, and freedom. This pop-up station will feature informational displays telling the story of the monument and invites your input on what should come next.
