Come learn more about the library's Cricut Maker and practice cutting heat transfer vinyl to embellish a tote bag to take home!
This introductory, in-person class will cover how to use an electronic die-cutting machine called the Cricut Maker to create an iron-on decal using heat transfer vinyl (HTV) and how to apply that decal to a canvas tote bag using the Cricut Easy Press. Participants will also learn the basics of Cricut Design Space, the software used to create endlessly customizable designs. No experience necessary, all materials provided.
After learning the basics, you'll be able to return to the Leonardtown Library Makerspace during open hours to use the Cricut on your own to create whatever you can imagine! Visit the Makerspace website to see open hours and learn about all it has to offer!
