Come learn more about the library's Cricut Maker and practice cutting paper to create an LED lantern to take home!
This introductory, in-person class will cover how to use the Cricut Maker 3, an electronic die-cutting machine, to make clean and precise cuts on paper that will then be turned into paper lanterns with an LED light. Class designs will feature Juneteenth, 4th of July, and Summer themes. Participants will also learn the basics of Cricut Design Space, the software used to create endlessly customizable designs. No experience necessary, all materials provided.
After learning the basics, you'll be able to return to the Leonardtown Library Makerspace during open hours to use the Cricut on your own to create whatever you can imagine! Visit the Makerspace website to see open hours and learn about all it has to offer!
