Learn about FREE energy efficiency programs for Maryland residents!

The Department of Housing and Community Development offers multiple programs to upgrade and replace heating and cooling systems, HVAC systems, appliances, insulation, and encapsulation of basements at no cost to Maryland residents if they qualify. Renters and homeowners are both eligible for these programs, which are available for all household income levels. In addition to information on these money-saving programs, DHCD will also give tips and guides on how to save energy in the home.
