Celebrate the Icelandic holiday of Jólabókaflód, the Yule Book Flood, with us.

Take a book and leave a book in our community book exchange, plus enjoy reading, snacks, and relaxing activities in our cozy space.

The Jólabókaflód tradition started during World War II, when paper was one of the few commodities not rationed during the war. Icelanders exchanged books around the holidays, as gifts and other materials were hard to come by. For more information on this tradition, take a look at the Jólabókaflód website!
