Get a head start on your garden this year with winter seed starting!

Master Gardener & Master Naturalist Molly Moore will introduce the 10 simple steps to winter sowing, discuss the benefits of this unique seed-starting method – including some serious cost-savings - and walk participants through creating and seeding their own mini greenhouses to take home!

Participants are invited to donate plastic gallon jugs (milk jugs) to refresh our supply of mini greenhouses.

This program is made possible with support from the Lexington Manor Passive Park Community Garden and the University of Maryland Extension Master Gardener and Master Naturalist programs. This workshop may qualify for continuing education hours for Master Gardeners and Master Naturalists.
